Certified Field Service Manager Course

Field service managers must be able to manage in an environment of highly skilled, technical people. He or she must be able to lead, coach, and facilitate the activities of these people toward the accomplishment of the evolving technical service mission, and have a high quotient of skills and insights into the specific demands of customers, subordinates, and the service business environment. The Field Service Manager course uniquely fills this need.

The Field Service Manager program is dynamic and interactive, with students frequently working in small groups, presenting findings and working on the course case study. The program is four and a half days of course content and out of class university-level instruction and learning, focused on managing in the field service environment. 

Students who pass the exam become a Certified Field Service Manager designation (CFSM). Both content of the course and certification are based on the Industry Standards of the Service Capability & Performance Programs (SCP). These programs have been formed by leading service companies all over the world. This course is the first of its kind and is targeted specifically for field service managers.
